NEET UG 2019: Aiming at bringing the best out of the students, Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar had said that the changes in NEET and JEE (Main) exams will give more chances to students thereby giving adequate opportunity to bring out their best.

NEET UG 2019: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) (Main) exam will be conducted twice a year from now. Aiming at bringing the best out of the students, Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar had said that the changes in NEET and JEE (Main) exams will give more chances to students thereby giving adequate opportunity to bring out their best. This came as a major relief from the students as the decision will help in reducing stress among them which develops due to a single exam being conducted on one day in the year. JEE (Main) is the exam which is conducted for admission into undergraduate courses in engineering colleges, while NEET, is conducted for admission into medical and dental courses. According to the new rule JEE (Main) from now onwards will be held in January and April, whereas, NEET will take place in February and May. The students can choose to sit for either of the exams or both. The best of both their scores will be taken into account. The online registration for the NEET 2018-19 is likely to begin in October 2018 for February exam, as per the report by the Indian Express. • NEET exams usually take place for 3 hours. • Candidates will be tested on their knowledge in physics, chemistry, and biology. • The syllabus includes the whole of Class 11 and 12 NCERT textbooks. • The exam includes negative marking.
