'Leaving Home For 5 Years': NEET Aspirant Goes Missing From Kota
A 19-year-old NEET from Gangapur city in Rajasthan conveyed his choice through a text message to stop his studies further to his parents before missing from Kota.
A 19-year-old NEET aspirant from Gangapur city in Rajasthan expressed his decision to discontinue further studies to his parents via text message before disappearing from his residence, as per police reports on Thursday.
“I don’t want to study further. I won’t take any wrong steps. I am leaving home for five years.”Before going missing from the house here on Thursday, a 19-year-old NEET applicant sent his parents this message, police said on Thursday, PTI reported.
A Gangapur city resident in Rajasthan, Rajendra Prasad Meena had been attending a coaching institute for the past three years, as stated by Deputy Superintendent of Police Yogesh Sharma.
Rajendra Meena's Messages To His Parents
After completing the NEET exam on May 6, Meena messaged his parents conveying his intention not to pursue further education and his plan to leave home for five years. He emphasised that he would not want any communication and intended to dispose of his SIM card and sell his mobile phone. He left with Rs 8,000 and assured his family that he wouldn't resort to any harmful actions, particularly comforting his mother in his message.

According to PTI, DSP stated that Meena further requested his mother not to worry about and he assured her that he would not take any wrong steps.
Following this, Meena's family then hurried to the PG and reported her missing to the Vigyan Nagar police station.
During the investigation, the PG owner and caretaker Kalpana Sharma who provided information during the investigation stated that Meena was a happy man, and before leaving his room, he settled all of his outstanding debts.
According to DSP, he told them he was leaving for home. He stated that attempts are being made to locate Meena.
