'Mil Baant Ke Malai Khate Hain': Kejriwal Targets ‘Corrupt’ Congress & BJP In Goa

“Both Congress and BJP are working in collusion. ‘Mil baant ke malai khate hain’. They have an agreement, as per which neither takes action against another when they come to government,” he said.

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Monday alleged both the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are corrupt and working in collusion.

“Both Congress and BJP are working in collusion. ‘Mil baant ke malai khate hain’. They have an agreement, as per which neither takes action against another when they come to government,” he said.

“Both Congress and BJP are corrupt. This is why the Congress doesn't dare to speak against the BJP because they know they would be sent to jail if they speak. Why hasn't a single case been filed against ex-Congress CM or minister in the last 10 years of BJP rule?” he asked addressing a gathering in Goa, ANI reported.

Kejriwal also used the occasion to reach out to all sections of the society and announced a number of freebies, including free pilgrimage to Ayodhya for the Hindus and similar trips to Velankanni for the Christians, if the AAP is voted to power in Goa.

“If we form the government in Goa, we will arrange free pilgrimage to Ayodhya for the Hindus and to Velankanni for the Christians. For the Muslims, we will provide a free trip to Ajmer Sharif and to Shirdi temple for those who revere Sai Baba,” he said.

With all eyes set on the assembly elections, the AAP national convener is on a day-long visit to Goa on Monday to oversee his party’s poll preparations

The election to the 40-member Goa Assembly will be held next year.

The Congress emerged as the single largest party in Goa in the 2017 assembly elections winning 17 seats in the 40-member House, but it could not form the government.

The BJP, which had won 13 seats, forged an alliance with some independents and regional parties to form the government in the coastal state.
