Meerut Brawl: New Video Shows Ranji Cricketers Beating UP Policemen With Slippers Days After Accusing Them Of Same

In a twist of events a new video has now surfaced on social media in which the Ranji cricketers can be seen beating the policemen with slippers, days after the cops were suspended.

While two policement were suspended in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut district after being accused of beating two Ranji Trophy cricketers, in a dramatic twist of events, a new video has now surfaced on social media in which the cricketers can be seen beating the policemen with slippers. Arvind Chaurasia, the Circle Officer of the Civil Lines ares, has now revealed that a new report has now been forwarded to the senior officials which has the updated facts after the new video came to the fore.

As per reports, two Ranji cricket players, Prashant Choudhary and Vineet Panwar, who train at the Bhamashah Park in Meerut got involved in a dispute with two police officers on Sunday evening. From what is being known so far, the verbal exchange started after the players accused the policemen, senior Sub-Inspector Varun Sharma and SI Jitendra, of parking their vehicle in the wrong spot. Things escalated quickly and the verbal exchange turned physical with a fight breaking out between the cricketers and the cops. Both officers were suspended after a formal complaint.

However, a new video now shows the cricketers beating the policement with their slippers. Following this new evidence, Chaurasia had to submit a new report. It remains to be seen how the concerned authorities will investiage and take the matter forward after the new bit of  video which pains a completely different picture.
