Mahima Chaudhary’s cousin, sister-in-law die in car crash

A case has been registered against the unidentified bus driver in Kharkhoda police station.

NEW DELHI: Bollywood actress Mahima Choudhary’s cousin Surya Pratap and his wife Aanchal were reportedly killed in a car crash on Meerut-Hapur highway while her maternal uncle was seriously injured.

The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon when a bus collided with their car. Surya Pratap was driving the vehicle and died on the spot. Aanchal, who sustained serious injuries, succumbed to her woulds late night. Mahima's uncle Ashok Kumar was referred to Delhi's Ganga Ram Hospital.

According to reports, Ashok Kumar, a resident of village Akadauli in Hapur district, accompanied with his son Suryapratap and daughter-in-law Aanchal went to see a doctor in Meerut. "All of us are in a state of shock. Mahima Chaudhary is the daughter of Surya Pratap's paternal aunt and in all probability she will come down to attend the last rites of her cousin and sister-in-law," a relative of the deceased told TOI.
