Lucknow: Part of 2-storey building collapses due to rains near Gulab Cinema, Gopalganj

A team of municipality immediately rushed to the spot

Lucknow:  As incessant rains continue to lash Uttar Pradesh, a part of two-story building dilapidated in Lucknow, near Gulab Cinema on Wednesday. The portion of the building which collapsed fell on a parked car; which further damaged it. A team of municipality immediately rushed to the spot, who are now removing the debris. As per the Municipality officials, the remaining portion of the building shall be demolished. No casualties or injuries have been reported so far.

Uttar Pradesh suffer due to heavy rains:  Heavy rains have become problematic for the people of Uttar Pradesh. So far 18 people have lost their lives in the state due to rains and flooding. The MeT department has predicted heavy rainfall in the state for the coming 2-3 days. More details on the same are awaited.
