Police Likely To Record Statement Of BJP MP Pratap Simha, Who Issued Passes To Parliament Intruders

The Delhi Police Special Cell has written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and sought permission to interrogate Pratap Simha.

In the latest developments pertaining to the Lok Sabha security breach incident, the police are likely to record the statement of Bharatiya Janata Party MP Pratap Simha, under whose name a visitor pass was issued to the intruders who jumped into the Lok Sabha chambers.

According to ABP News sources, the Delhi Police Special Cell has written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and sought permission to interrogate Pratap Simha. He is an MP from Myuru.

On Wednesday, in a major security breach on the anniversary of the 2001 Parliament terror attack, two men, Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D, jumped into the Lok Sabha chamber from the public gallery during the Zero Hour, released a yellow-coloured gas from canisters, and shouted slogans before being overpowered by the MPs.
