Kolkata: Human Skeleton Recovered From Roof Of Abandoned Building
The police, which visited the spot after hearing about the matter, has sent the skeletons for further examination to find out whether they belong to a male or female.
Kolkata: Some pieces of bone appearing to be human skeleton have been traced over the roof of an abandoned building opposite premises no 15/1 Strand Road in West Bengal capital Kolkata.

The premises belong to Kolkata Port Trust, which has given the space to a business house for commercial use.
“Some parts of old bones were discovered today by workmen of M/s Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co Ltd on the roof of old pump house opposite to SMP Kolkata. The matter was reported to the police and they inspected the site and recovered the bones for testing,” Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata, said in a statement, ABP Ananda reported.
M/s Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co Ltd is an authorised contractor of SMP Kolkata for renovation work of SMP Kolkata Headquarter.

The roof of the said old structure was left abandoned previously for 20 years. The building was being restored for keeping construction materials.
