'Jharkhand Govt Most Corrupt In Country, People Will Uproot It:' Amit Shah At BJP's Rally In Deoghar

Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Jharkhand’s Deoghar, where laid the foundation stone of a nano urea plant of IFFCO and addressed a BJP rally on Saturday.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that under this Budget, a large amount has been given to register 2 lakh multi-dimensional Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACs) within 5 years. Shah visited Jharkhand’s Deoghar, where laid the foundation stone of a nano urea plant of IFFCO and addressed a BJP rally on Saturday.

"Nano urea will benefit farmers, and it is already being exported to five countries," Shah remarked as he laid the plant's foundation stone, PTI reported.

Nano urea boosts crop yield, and soil health, and produces nutritional quality while addressing the imbalanced and excessive usage of conventional urea. According to IFFCO Managing Director U S Awasthi, the plant will be operational in December of next year, as stated in the PTI report.

"To promote cooperation, PM Modi has introduced several schemes in this Budget. 26 per cent tax used to be levied on cooperation in the field of production, it has now been lowered to 15 per cent:" Shah was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.

He further said, "After the formation of Ministry of Cooperation, we set up a data bank for Cooperatives across the country. It has been identified that under which Panchayat there are no PACs or no dairy, or no Fishery cooperative society".

Shah Pays Obeisance At Baba Baidyanath Temple:

He also visited the Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapeeth's centenary celebrations and paid his respects at the renowned Baba Baidyanath Temple.

He offered special prayers to the temple, which is one of the twelve jyotirlingas.

A team of priests assisted the Union home minister in reciting the prayers in the temple complex, which was well guarded. According to Kartik Nath Thakur, general secretary of the Baidyanath Temple Panda Dharmarakshini Sabha, Shah did a special 'panchopachar' puja.

Shah Addresses BJP's Vijay Sankalp Rally:

Shah addressed the ‘Vijay Sankalp Rally’ of the BJP, an opposition party in Jharkhand.

While addressing the rally, Shah said, "In this Union Budget, there will be no tax on income up to Rs 7 lakhs. For our tribals, 740 Eklavya Model schools will be established & 38,000 teachers will be recruited".

He slammed CM Soren, saying, "Jamtara and Deoghar have become cybercrime hotspots. But (CM) Hemant Soren has turned down all government assistance... We will win all 14 seats in 2024, as well as the Assembly elections with a full majority ".

He also called the "Jharkhand govt most corrupt in the country," he further said that the "people will uproot it".

The home minister stated, "Now, development is making its way into the state," referring to the Centre's efforts in Buddha Pahad and many other areas in Jharkhand that have become Naxal-free under PM Modi's leadership.

Shah's visit is seen as critical in light of the upcoming Lok Sabha and assembly elections in 2024.

He had visited Chaibasa in January and called upon the Hemant Soren government to deter infiltrators from other nations, who he alleged were "trying to seize land in Jharkhand by marrying indigenous women".

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the saffron party, in coalition with the AJSU Party, won 12 of the 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state, while the Congress and JMM each won one.
