Jammu And Kashmir: Two BJP Leaders Test Positive For Coronavirus Before Meeting Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha

I request all those who came in contact with these two leaders to get themselves tested and to quarantine themselves, JK BJP spokesman Altaf Thakur said today in a brief statement. Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha had made a surprise visit to the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar on Friday, August 28. Later he also held a meeting with the Central team of experts to take stock of COVID-19 situation in the Union Territory. As per the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Jammu and Kashmir currently has 7,672 active COVID-19 cases, while 28,020 people have recovered from the viral infection. As many as 685 people have also lost their lives to Coronavirus in the UT so far.
