IAF's Apache Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing In MP's Bhind, Pilots Safe
An Indian Air Force Apache helicopter has made an emergency landing in the Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh's Bhind.
An Indian Air Force Apache helicopter has made an emergency landing in the ravine of the Sindh river near Jakhnauli village in Madhya Pradesh's Bhind. As per the information, a combat helicopter landed in Bhind's Nayagaon area here for rescue operation. The Apache attack helicopter, which was on a training mission, made a crash landing. The pilots are safe, IAF said in a tweet. According to an IAF official, as reported by PTI, an Apache attack helicopter of the Indian Air Force aircraft made a precautionary landing near Bhind in Madhya Pradesh on Monday and there was no casualty.

According to PTI, the officials added that precautionary landing means there could have been some minor issues, due to which the aircraft was landed as a precaution. An Apache AH-64 helicopter of the IAF carried out a precautionary landing near Bhind, during routine operational training. All crew and the aircraft are safe. Officials said that the snag on the helicopter was rectified onsite, following which it has been flown back to base.

Earlier, IAF tweeted that the rectification party has reached the site. As per the information, the aircraft was on a normal routine training mission. The pilot did the precautionary landing near Bhind, an IAF spokesperson said in Delhi.
The incident took place at around 8.45 am, the IAF spokesperson said, as quoted by PTI. No harm was caused to any person or material, he said, adding the aircraft is being currently examined.
Earlier, Chambal Zone Inspector General of Police S Saxena told PTI that there was no fatality or injury in the landing (process).
