New Delhi: Union Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi will visit Srinagar on Monday to review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir with the top police and civil officials under the state government, an official source said here. The visit will come in the wake of the terror attack in Uri town and the directives from Home Minister Rajnath Singh. Seventeen army soldiers and four militants killed in the dastardly attack carried out allegedly by Jaish-e-Mohammad militants.
