Amid the wide-spread pandemic, Mankind Pharma has taken the responsibility on shoulders to boost the confidence of citizens and fight back the COVID-19 tide with utmost strength.

Ever since the Coronavirus brought India to a halt, from governments, industries to the poor and migrants, every citizen has struggled to regain strength in order to get their lives back on the usual track. Amid the wide-spread pandemic, Mankind Pharma has taken the responsibility on shoulders to boost the confidence of citizens and fight back the COVID-19 tide with utmost strength. The Indian pharmaceutical company has come up with a unique initiative and launched a patriotic anthem which encapsulates the true fighting spirit of India. Voiced by Padma Shri awardees Kailash Kher and Shankar Mahadevan, the melodious anthem has been titled as ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat.’ Starting with the lyrics ‘Hum Se Bhetar Hum, Bolo Vande Mataram’, the track is accompanied by highly-motivating visuals which make us recall some of the greatest achievements and innovations of India in the field of science, technology, health, defense etc. Through this anthem, Mankind Pharma has pushed further Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Mission’, which aims to make India ‘Self-Reliant.’ Resonating with Mankind’s brand philosophy, the anthem encourages us to promote home grown companies in order to fulfill the dream of making India ‘Atmanirbhar’. Speaking on the occasion, Mankind Pharma’s CEO Rajeev Juneja in a statement said that it is a proud feeling to launch the anthem as it magnifies the civilization of India and what the country has given to the world since ages. “As a home-grown company, we stand strong for ‘Make in India’. The newly launched anthem ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ is the vision of our Prime Minister and we completely support it. We would like to urge the people to stay united in this hardship and work towards putting Indian economy on the world map and make our nation ‘Atmanirbhar’ by being vocal for the locals,” Mr Juneja said. Speaking on the same note, singer-composer Kailash Kher said, “I am honored to be a part of this initiative by Mankind. The anthem uplifts the mood of the nation and brings a sense of positivity in each one of us. It re-instates the pride of being an Indian.” Similarly, popular Singer Shankar Mahadevan who sung the Anthem in the South Indian version, expressed his moments of pride in being a part of the initiative by the leading Pharma company.
