Heavy rain predicted in Odisha, UP

New Delhi [India], August 26 (ANI): Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday issued warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places of Odisha and Uttar Pradesh.

There is also a prediction of heavy rain at isolated places over states of Uttarakhand, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

Heavy rainfall also likely to lash several parts of other states including Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Coastal and South Interior Karnataka.

For coastal areas of West Bengal, Odisha and north Andhra Pradesh, IMD has predicted very rough sea conditions and advised fisherman not to venture in these areas. (ANI)
