Good News for Students: These States Will Keep Their Schools Closed Today - Check Full List HERE

Many districts in UP, MP, and Haryana have closed their schools for the day. It has been decided to keep schools closed during the Braj Mandal and Kanwar Yatras in order to protect students.

School Holiday: Sawan begins on the first Monday of July 14, 2025. Since yesterday evening, rain has been falling throughout most of Central and North India. In this context, Shiva followers view this as the start of Sawan in its purest form. Orders have been issued to keep schools closed in various areas of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Haryana on the first Monday of Sawan in order to preserve security amidst the crowds at Shiva temples and the Kanwar Yatra. Every Monday in Sawan, schools in certain districts will also be closed.

Kanwar Yatra Holidays

Several locations around Uttar Pradesh will host Kanwar Yatra today (Kanwar Yatra Holidays). The well-known Mahakal temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, and Kashi Vishwanath in Varanasi will also see large crowds for darshan. Furthermore, a holiday has been ordered for schools in the sensitive district of Haryana in observance of the Brij Mandal Yatra (Brij Mandal Yatra Nuh). It is recommended that before departing for school, students check the weather and holiday status for today.

Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra In Haryana

The government of Haryana has increased security in the Nuh area in anticipation of the Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra. For the next 24 hours, Nuh's internet and SMS services have been suspended by the state administration. In addition, all of the district's schools have been instructed to stay closed on Monday, July 14, due to the Braj Mandal Yatra. Both public and private schools will be subject to this rule. The pupils' convenience and safety are the reasons behind this decision.

Kanwar Yatra In Uttar Pradesh

In the districts of Bareilly and Badaun, schools will remain closed because of the Kanwar Yatra in Uttar Pradesh. Every Monday in both districts of Sawan, schools will be closed. At the same time, some parts of Badaun will have schools closed on Saturday. It is anticipated that a large number of pilgrims will assemble at Varanasi's Kashi Vishwanath temple today, the first Monday of Sawan. Schools will also be shuttered in such a scenario. Because of the increased traffic near the Shiva temple and Kanwar Yatra, children may encounter difficulties. Additionally, they run the risk of having their safety jeopardized.

Mahakal Temple is the reason for the fame of Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. On account of Mahakal Darshan and Mahakal Aarti, people travel from all over the nation to Ujjain. Shiva devotees are growing in number here in Sawan. In this case, the city's traffic system is also impacted. In consideration of the children's comfort and security, the district administration has mandated that all schools remain closed on Sawan Monday. Schools will be open on Sunday in place of this. You can get in touch with the school if you have any issues or inquiries. Rain may also force the closure of certain schools in the Delhi-NCR and neighboring states.
