'Death Warrant For Delhiites!' Gautam Gambhir's Reaction After CM Kejriwal Announced Delhi's Lockdown 4.0 Plan

BJP MP Gautam Gambhir has lashed out at the Delhi government for its decision to provide several relaxations in non-containment zone areas in the state.

New Delhi: BJP MP Gautam Gambhir on Monday criticized the Delhi government's plan for Lockdown 4.0. The former cricketer took to Twitter and lashed out at the state government's decision to provide relaxations such as opening up of shops on an odd-even basis, resuming transport services and allowing construction work to resume. He wrote, "The decision to open up almost everything in one go can act as a Death Warrant for Delhiites! I urge Delhi Govt to think again & again! One wrong move & everything will be over!" The BJP MP further warned the Arvind Kejriwal-led government by implying that one wrong move can risk the lives of all citizens. He urged the officials to rethink these decisions. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced, on Monday evening, city-specific lockdown norms for the people living in the national capital. The government provided several relaxations for non-containment zone areas. However, people have been directed to strictly follow precautionary measures like wearing masks and maintain social distancing at all times.
