Fuel prices increase further for 12th consecutive day; rise by Rs 3 in 12 days

Opposition on the other hand is slapping challenges, where Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday, challenged PM Modi to reduce the fuel price.

New Delhi: Government doesn’t seem in a mood to relent over doing something about consistently escalating fuel prices. The fuel price got increased for the 12th consecutive day by 36 paisa and rose to Rs77.83 in Delhi. The pocket-burning-prices have left the consumers worried. Opposition on the other hand is slapping challenges, where Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday, challenged PM Modi to reduce the fuel price. Rahul thereafter warned PM that Congress would force PM to reduce fuel prices by launching nation-wide protests. This came after PM Modi accepted cricketer Virat Kohli’s fitness challenge, in the wake of ongoing HumFitTohIndiaFit challenge doing rounds on social media, where people are posting their fitness videos and then daring others to follow. In a similar tweet, even Bihar’s former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav took to his Twitter account and challenged Modi to bring more jobs for the youth, and reduce fuel prices.
