New Delhi: Former Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede, who arrested Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in the cruise drugs case, has been transferred to Chennai, as reported by news agency ANI. According to the order, Sameer Wankhede has been transferred from Directorate General of Analytics and Risk Management (DGARM) Mumbai to Director General of Taxpayers Service, Chennai. Recently, the Narcotics Control Bureau’s charge sheet gave a clean chit to actor Shah Rukh Khan's son, sources told news agency ANI.

IRS officer Sameer Wankhede was the zonal director of NCB Mumbai and was posted in the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence.

NCB officials, which filed its chargesheet in a Mumbai court, said Aryan Khan and five others had not been named due to "lack of sufficient evidence".
