FIR Filed Over Videos Showing PM Modi, Yogi Adityanath Dancing To Bhojpuri Songs

Additional Superintendent of Police, Anil Kumar Jha, said the FIR was lodged under sections of the Information Technology Act after a complaint by Praveen Singh, head of the media cell at Cyber Thana.

An FIR has been filed against unidentified individuals for allegedly sharing an “objectionable” video involving Mahatma Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on social media. The issue was brought to light by Neha Singh Rathore through her X account (@imrowdy_rathore) on Tuesday.

As per the PTI report, Additional Superintendent of Police, Anil Kumar Jha, said the FIR was lodged under sections of the Information Technology Act following a complaint by Praveen Singh, head of the media cell at Cyber Thana.

Investigation Launched

“Yogi Adityanath Ji Maharaj, the popular and successful Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has made many efforts for the honor, respect, women empowerment and security of the daughters and sisters of his state and is also making efforts. But see how some cheap street reels are using Yogi ji for a few views. Not only this, how videos of Prime Minister and Mahatma Gandhi are being edited and uploaded for cheap popularity,” Rathore said in a post on X.

She further questioned the Ballia police, asking, “When will action be taken against this cheap street reeler?”
