EXCLUSIVE| Raj Thackeray Says, "Uddhav Govt Won't Last Long, His Work Is Only Visible On TV"

MNS Chief Raj Thackeray shared his vision on Maharashtra and said that the present government has a lack of coordination and it won't last long. Thackeray also said that Ram Temple ‘bhoomi pujan’ is not required amid the pandemic.

New Delhi: In an exclusive interview to ABP News Network, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray spoke about his vision for Maharashtra amid the Coronavirus pandemic. Discussing the present crisis in Maharashtra amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the MNS chief said that there is an atmosphere of extreme fear in the minds of the people regarding the coronavirus and it’s spread and various mediums are responsible for this. Undoubtedly, the virus spread is a critical issue but it needs to handled sensibly, too much has been spoken and overemphasized. But now, unlocking is the need of the hour. Also, the fear amongst the people needs to be handled and they need to be motivated. It’s very important for me, that the people rise above this." Job Crisis Stressing on the economic state and unemployment the MNS Chief said that his workers are ensuring that the Marathi youth does not remain jobless. He also said that though his party is working tirelessly to improve the situation, the state government should also chalk out a plan for the jobless and the migrants. "Many migrant workers have gone back to their states during the lockdown. Our party is working to ensure those jobs are given to the Marathi youth. My colleagues are in talks with the companies but the government needs to formulate a proper plan of action", Thackeray said. "The work that my Maharashtra Sainiks have done in the past four months is unparalleled. They have worked relentlessly and selflessly for the people". "I avoided going out during the coronavirus pandemic as my party workers would have gathered in large numbers and that would have made them susceptible to catching the virus. However, those holding positions in the government must step out. "Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray was seen on the television but the work was not visible." Thackeray also said that the Central and the state government is busy accusing and pointing fingers at each other but he will not resort to criticise any government in these unprecedented times. He said, "There have been mistakes from both the central and state government sides but as mentioned earlier, it’s not the right time to politicise this. The opposition parties should conduct themselves in a responsible manner." Ram Mandir Emphasizing the crisis the country is facing due to Covid-19 pandemic and the Ram Temple 'Bhumi Pujan' on August 5th, Raj Thackeray said, "The Ram Mandir has to be built, there is no doubt about that. So many karsevaks sacrificed their lives. The ‘bhumi pujan’ of Ram Mandir should be done on a scale that is befitting this Mandir. It should be done on a grand scale and in these prevalent times, it’s not possible to do so." "Let the coronavirus subside and subsequently the fear amongst the people and then let the ‘bhumi pujan’ be done on a grand scale. This is a momentous happening, an E- bhumi pujan is not befitting." MNS Chief lauds Sonu Sood's selfless work The MNS Chief also appreciated Actor Sonu Sood's efforts during the crisis situation and said," Sonu Sood is definitely doing a remarkable job. Everyone has the intention of reaching out on such a scale, but financial restraints are there. Wonder who must have financed and stood behind Sonu; we will get to know in the future. The entertainment industry needs to be brought back on track and the rules and protocols applicable should be reasonable ones. So many countries are getting back on track. Of course, caution has to be taken, but extending the lockdown is not the solution." Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Vision Speaking about the current political situation in Maharashtra, MNS Chief Raj Thackeray said, "The state government comprising of 3 parties may not last long. There appears to be a lack of coordination amongst them. "I have a definite vision for Maharashtra and I have elucidated that in my Blueprint for Maharashtra. Whenever the reigns of the state come in my hands, that time, my vision will take form and become a reality." "I want to create a Maharashtra that will be the envy of this world; that’s my dream and I need the blessings of my people to achieve that."
