Diwali 2021: Delhi Metro has released a statement, saying that it would be running its last metro train service at 10 pm on November 4.

New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has released information on the train timing and its last service for Diwali 2021. A tweet by DMRC informed that the last metro train service on November 4 would take place at 10 pm. This schedule is applicable for terminals on all metro lines except the Green line.

The tweet further stated that the last metro train service for the terminals on the Green Line will be as per the revised schedule.

According to the schedule, the last metro train service from Brig Hoshiar Singh to Inderlok terminal on the green line will be at 9 pm. From Brig Hoshiar Singh to Kirti Nagar the last metro train on November 4 will run at 9:10 pm.

DMRC has instructed people to use face masks while using the metro services. Delhi has been witnessing a decline in daily COVID-19 cases for some time now. However, DMRC is still appealing to people to stay safe by following protocols, wearing masks, and maintaining social distancing.

Diwali would be celebrated all across the nation tomorrow. As people come out for last-minute shopping, Delhi's markets are expected to witness huge crowds tomorrow. In view of declining air quality in the capital, the Delhi Government has requested people to burst only green fire-crackers, that too only in the permitted time slot. Strict action can be taken against those who break the rules.
