"This alliance has serving the nation for the past 25 years...PM chaired this meeting as NDA has completed 25 years,” said BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh after attending the meeting.

During the meeting, Modi trained guns on the INDIA alliance saying that the opposition alliance will not be able to wash off its "sins of corruption and misgovernance" by changing its name, reported PTI quoting its sources as saying.

The ruling saffron party has divided NDA MPs region-wise into clusters of nearly 40 MPs and Modi is expected to speak to them separately during the ongoing Parliament's monsoon session.

The meetings have been organised in the wake of NDA completing its 25 years of existence and to shape strategy for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. The first two meetings in this regard were held on Monday.
