Discussed 2024 LS Polls, PM Modi Advised Public Outreach To Highlight Achievements: NDA MPs
PM Modi addressed a meeting of 44 MPs from the western part of Uttar Pradesh from upto the Kanpur-Bundelkhand region, and later spoke to the alliance MPs from West Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met with the MPs from the ruling National Democratic Alliance where he asked them to go to people with positive messages around the government’s work and advised them to spend the maximum time with people to reach out to them. "We will be going to the people and telling them about the work done for the welfare of the people in the last nine years," said BJP MP Anil Agrawal.
The PM addressed a meeting of 44 MPs from the western part of Uttar Pradesh from upto the Kanpur-Bundelkhand region, and later spoke to the alliance MPs from West Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand at a similar meeting on the Parliament annexe.
"This was NDA's first meeting attended by PM Modi, BJP chief JP Nadda. Discussions related to 2024 General Elections were held and we (NDA) will be winning with a larger majority," said BJP MP Sanjeev Balyan after the meeting.
Rajya Sabha BJP MP Harnath Singh Yadav also said discussion regarding preparations for elections were held. " We (MPs) will be going to people and will tell them about the achievements of the Center."

"This alliance has serving the nation for the past 25 years...PM chaired this meeting as NDA has completed 25 years,” said BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh after attending the meeting.
During the meeting, Modi trained guns on the INDIA alliance saying that the opposition alliance will not be able to wash off its "sins of corruption and misgovernance" by changing its name, reported PTI quoting its sources as saying.
The ruling saffron party has divided NDA MPs region-wise into clusters of nearly 40 MPs and Modi is expected to speak to them separately during the ongoing Parliament's monsoon session.
The meetings have been organised in the wake of NDA completing its 25 years of existence and to shape strategy for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. The first two meetings in this regard were held on Monday.
