A Delhi court has granted interim bail to former JNU student Umar Khalid in the 2020 Delhi riots conspiracy case. The bail has been granted for 7 days for attending a marriage in the family.
Additional Sessions Judge Sameer Bajpai of the Karkardooma Court granted bail to the student leader for 7 days for attending a wedding in the family, Live Law reported.
"Considering the fact that the applicant wishes to attend the marriage of his first cousin and meet his relatives, the court deems it just and appropriate to grant him the desired relief," the judge ordered.
