Police were informed about the deaths of the cows at around 12.30 pm on Friday.
NEW DELHI: Around 48 cows were found dead at a cowshed at Chhawla area of south-western Delhi.
The shocking is being investigated by a team of police and veterinary doctors at the scene. Many claim that the death might be occurring due to an outbreak of a disease.

A worker told ANI “The water motor hasn’t been working for the past 2 days. No one listens to us. We try to do our best but no doctor is available for the cows,”
A team of doctors from the veterinary hospital of Kakrola, Goyla Dairy, Najagarh, Dichaun Kalan, Chhawla and Nangli Dairy were sent to the Gaushala.
The Development minister Gopal Rai on Friday had ordered an inquiry in the case. The Gaushala is run by Acharya Sushil Gosadan Trust at village Ghumanhera in Chhawla area.
