Covid Update: India Logs 19,968 Cases, 673 Deaths In Last 24 Hrs. Positivity Rate Dips To 1.68%
The active caseload of the country stood at 2,24,187 while tally of total recoveries in the country has reached to 4,20,86,383. The death toll in the country was at 5,11,903.
New Delhi: India reported 19,968 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. During the same time, 48,847 recoveries were reported while 673 people succumbed to the infection.

The daily positivity rate in the country stood at 1.68 percent while the weekly positivity rate at 2.27 percent.
The total Covid-19 vaccination tally in the country was reported to be at 1,75,37,22,697.

As the country witnesses a continued dip in the number of Covid-19 cases in the country, many states are uplifting the Covid-19 restrictions. On Saturday, Uttar Pradesh lifted the night curfew in the state.
Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Awanish Kumar Awasthi in a notice dated February 19 stated that the night curfew has been lifted due to the decline in Covid-19 cases.
The country is experiencing a downward trend in the number of Covid-19 cases. On Saturday, 22,270 cases of Covid-19 were reported in the country while 325 deaths were registered.
