Covid Cases Today: India reports 18,166 new COVID cases, 23,624 recoveries, and 214 deaths in the last 24 hours
Corona Cases Update: India has witnessed a marginal dip in Coronavirus cases. The country's Covid-19 numbers are falling constantly. India has reported 18,166 fresh infections in the last 24 hours taking the active caseload at 2,30,971 which is the lowest in 206 days, informed the Union Health Ministry. The total caseload was 3,39,53,475.
214 deaths were recorded in the last 24 Hrs. More than 50% of the total cases came from Kerala on Friday.
Active cases account for less than 1% of total cases, currently at 0.71%, the lowest since March 2020. The recovery rate is currently at 97.96% that is the highest since March 2020.

Maharashtra on Thursday reported 2,486 new coronavirus positive cases, taking its overall infection tally to 65,75,578, while the death of 59 persons pushed the toll to 1,39,470, the health department said.
A total of 2,446 patients recuperated and were discharged during the day, which increased the recovery count to 63,99,464, it said in a statement.
There are 33,011 active cases in the state at present.
Maharashtra's COVID-19 recovery rate stands at 97.32 percent, while the fatality rate is 2.12 percent.
As 1,47,320 people were tested during the day, the state's cumulative test count reached 5,97,66,957.
Mumbai city reported 978 cases and 9 deaths. So far, 12,85,447 cases and 35,344 deaths have been recorded in the metropolis.
