Coronavirus: SC Pulls Up Delhi & Gujarat, Asks All States To File Status Report In 2 Days

The Supreme Court bench has also sought information from the Delhi's Aam Aadmi Party government about the steps taken to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

Coronavirus Pandemic: As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to wreak havoc in several states, with Delhi and Gujarat witnessing a sharp spike in their respective Covid-19 graphs, the Supreme Court on Monday pulled up both the states over the failure to check the infections on time. Also Read: As US Plans To Begin Vaccination From December, Know What Keeps Pfizer Shots Distant From India The Supreme Court bench has also sought information from the Delhi's Aam Aadmi Party government about the steps taken to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. Not only Delhi, the Supreme Court has sought affidavit from Maharashtra, Gujarat, & Assam governments on the steps taken by them in regard to the current coronavirus condition in the states. A Bench headed by Justice Ashok Bhushan also pulled up Gujarat and Delhi for worsening COVID-19 situation. SC asks all states to file status report: The Supreme Court has also asked all the states to file status reports on steps they have taken, steps intended to be taken and help needed from Centre to combat Covid-19 situation. The Court said Gujarat is worst after Delhi and Maharashtra.  The Bench has posted the matter for hearing next on Friday. Also Watch The Following Report:
