'My Lord Spotted With Beast': Viral Picture Of CJI Bobde On Harley Davidson Invites Mixed Bag Of Reactions

Since being shared, the picture has gone viral on the social media platforms, surprising the netizens of Bobde's thrilling hobbies.

New Delhi: Chief Justice of India Sharad Arvind Bobde is all over the social media today as he tries out a ride on a hunky superbike Harley Davidson. The 64-year-old Bobde is said to be adventurous and fond of bikes in his personal life. In the viral picture, the CJI can be seen sitting on the parked Harley Davidson CVO 2020, surrounded by people wearing masks. Since being shared, the picture has gone viral on the social media platforms, surprising the netizens of Bobde's thrilling hobbies. The Twitter page of ‘Bar & Bench’ shared the picture along with a caption that read, “Chief Justice of India SA Bobde trying out Harley Davidson Limited edition CVO 2020.” Social media influencer and a film producer, Tanujj Garg expressed his surprise saying, "Our Chief Justice, Sharad Bobde, I'd read, is a keen dog-lover and photography enthusiast. Adding 'biker' to my Lord's list of passions." Several others appreciated Bobde for having thrill and positive spirits up in life beating all odd. Some called Bobde as "CJI Swagger" while some said, "Bobde is Stylish and suave.". On the other hand, many pointed out that the CJI violated social distancing norms by not wearing a mask while being surrounded by so  many people around. According to a report by NDTV, the bike was brought to CJI by a Harley Davidson dealer only for the purpose of demo. The report quoted some sources saying that SA Bobde was wearing a mask all the time but removed only when he sat on it "for a feel." The 47th Chief Justice of India, SA Bobde sworn in as Chief Justice of India on November 18 last year, and is due to retire on April 23, 2021.
