The Excise Department of Delhi government has released a list of dry days in upcoming months. Dry Days are those days when liquor shops are closed in the city.
According to the fresh list, there will be a dry day in Delhi on the occasion of Eid on April 11, Ram Navami on April 17, Mahavir Jayanti on April 21, Buddha Purnima on May 23 and Bakrid on June 17, according to the recent notification by the excise department of Delhi government.

Also, in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the parts of Uttar Pradesh (NCR) connected to Delhi, the Excise Department of Delhi Government has issued orders that there will be dry days in Delhi from 6 pm on April 24 to 6 pm on April 26. This for two days, between April 24 to April 26, all liquor shops will remain closed in Delhi. India is all set to go into general elections on April 19. The elections will occur in seven phases and end on June 1. The Lok Sabha elections 2024 results will be declared on June 4.
