CBSE compartment exam 2018: Improvement exam for Class 10, 12 to begin from 16 July; Check datesheet, last minute tips

CBSE compartment exam 2018: Class 10 compartment exam will be conducted from 16 to 24 July 2018, while for class 12, the compartment exam for all subjects will be conducted on 16 July 2018.

CBSE compartment exam 2018: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheet for compartment examination 2018 for both class 10 and class 12 on the official website - cbse.nic.in. Class 10 compartment exam will be conducted from 16 to 24 July 2018, while for class 12, the compartment exam for all subjects will be conducted on 16 July 2018. Students who were not able to clear their board exam 2018 that took place earlier this year, can appear in the compartment exam that will take place this July. The result for the same is likely to be declared in the second week of August, 2018. According to the website, no inquiries about the actual date of declaration of result will be attended to as this is only a probable date for declaration of result. The schedule for the compartment exam is given below:

Important information:

• In addition to theory Examination given above, there will also be practical examination in respect of those candidates who have failed in practical in a subject involving practical. • Candidates appearing for the compartmental examination in a subject involving practical work are required to appear in theory only in case they have passed in practical. • The result of the examination is likely to be declared in the second week of August, 2018.

CBSE Compartment/Improvement exams 2018: How to prepare

• Go through the sample papers and practice papers one last time. • Mark the paper pattern. • Prepare your strategy beforehand as of which section would you answer first, which one last. • Revise the things that you kept for last minute revision and where you find yourself an expert. • Do selective revision. Focus only on the main takeaways from every chapter. • Organize your admit card, stationery, and other items which you have to carry to the exam center in one place. • Do not indulge in late night studying. • Relax and be ready.
