Ranchi (Jharkhand): Eleven members of a family were found hanging inside their residence in New Delhi earlier this month and an identical incident has emerged to shock the capital of Jharkhand. Seven members of a family at a locality near Kanke police station were found hung this morning with the police suspecting it to be a case of mass suicide arising out of financial stress. Two children are said to be among the deceased. Prima facie, it appears to be a case of suicide, Senior Superintendent of Police Anis Gupta said. "Five adults and two infants were found dead in their home under Kanke police station," he added.
