BJP Attacks Kejriwal Govt's Ads In Gujarat Newspapers, Claims AAP Spent 'Less On Covid Orphans'

Harsh Sanghvi, BJP MLA from Surat, questioned the Kejriwal government spending Rs 75 lakh on advertisements in Gujarat.

Gujarat assembly election might be next year but with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) declaring its intention to contest on all the seats, it has started an early political skirmish between contenders.

Harsh Sanghvi, a BJP MLA from Surat, Gujarat tweeted attacking the Kejriwal government for spending Rs 75 lakh on advertisement in Gujarat newspapers. He wrote in a tweet: "Kejriwal government spent more than Rs 75 lakhs on advertisements in Gujarat, which has no greater good, and is giving only Rs 2500 to children who lost their parents. Just imagine, if this money was given to those children suffering from Corona, then their future would have been bright.

BJP MLA Harsh Sanghvi further tweeted and wrote that the BJP led government in Gujarat is committed to providing Rs 4000 to those kids who lost their parents to coronavirus pandemic.

It is alleged that the Kejriwal government advertises its work across the newspapers outside Delhi at government expenses. For this, they are always on the target of opposition.
