Bihar: RJD Workers Initiate Poster War Against Inflation, Accuse Nitish Kumar Of Ignorance

Regarding the poster war, RJD's state general secretary Bhai Arun said that inflation is at its peak in the country. When the prices of petrol are so low in the neighbouring countries, why are we experiencing inflation here?

Patna: Since the beginning of the financial year 2021-22, there has been an increase in the prices of petrol, diesel, edible oil, pulses, and other everyday items. Inflation has caused distress amongst the general public.

In Patna, the opposition is constantly targeting the government by raising questions over inflation. On Thursday, RJD workers in Patnatargeted the Chief Minister of the state regarding inflation.

RJD Workers Declare Poster War

RJD workers put up posters on the streets of Patna questioning CM Nitish Kumar on the issue of inflation. Through the poster, RJD workers said: "Those who are in power today always made scathing remarks about inflation when they were in the opposition. But today, when they are the ones running the government, they are forgetting their responsibility and disregarding the issue of inflation."

RJD workers took a dig at the government by writing the prices of mustard oil, refined oil, tur dal, masoor dal, chana dal, petrol, and diesel on the posters. The poster has been put up by James Kumar Yadav, Shivendra Kumar Tati, Om Prakash, Shekhar Yadav, and Arun Kumar.

Regarding the poster war, RJD's state general secretary Bhai Arun said that inflation is at its peak in the country. "When the prices of petrol are so low in the neighbouring countries, why are we experiencing inflation here? Today, people are considering walking on foot rather than using a vehicle," he said.

Taking a jibe at the BJP, he said that inflation, which seemed like a pinching problem during the Congress regime, has now become a minor niggle.

Bhai Arun said that the situation in the country has become like it was pre-independence. There is a state of extreme hunger and starvation. In such a situation, the government should pay attention to this issue and reduce inflation.
