Bihar: Neighbour throws acid on grade 9 girl’s face, leaving her & mother completely burnt

New Delhi: In yet another case of crime in Bihar, a man boldly walked off to a girl’s house in Aurangabad and threw acid on her face, leaving her face and body completely burnt. In an attempt to save the girl, her mother also fell prey of the deadly acid and it burnt her as well. According to the father Kaiser Kadri, his daughter Salma was returning home from her coaching classes when she was encountered by her neighbour Azhar who tried to molest her. After confronting Azhar, Salma went running to her house and narrated the whole incident in front of her parents. On hearing the whole incident by the girl, Kadri gathered the neighbours and thrashed Azhar publically. This agitated and hurt the ego of Azhar who then planned to spoil the whole life of this young girl by throwing concentrated acid on her face. The girl was then immediately taken to the Gaya hospital along with her mother, where both of them are battling for their lives in the ICU ward. .Salma is a student of class 9. Her whole body has been burnt along with her face. Her mother, who also received acid drops, is yet to gain conscious.
