The Electronics City Flyover will remain closed to traffic during nighttime hours for essential maintenance work. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced that the flyover will be shut daily from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM, starting Wednesday, March 5, 2025, until further notice.
Electronics City Flyover To Remain Shut Overnight
In a press note, Shivaprakash Devaraju, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic South Division, Bengalauru City said, "NHAI will be carrying out major maintenance work on the Hosur Main Road Elevated Flyover. In this regard, Dated:05-03-2025 i.e, from tomorrow night until further notice, all types of vehicular traffic will be restricted on both sides of the elevated flyover from Silkboard towards Electronic City & from Electronic City towards Silkboard from 11-00 pm to 06-00 am the next day."
"During the day, it will be open to all types of vehicles from 06-00 am to 11-00 pm. The public is requested to cooperate," he said.
The Electronic city flyover is closed 11.00 PM to 06.00 AM due to road tar work, The public are requested to cooperate.

The flyover, inaugurated in 2010, serves as a vital artery for thousands of commuters, including employees of major tech firms like Infosys and HP, as well as travellers from Hosur and Krishnagiri in Tamil Nadu, as per a report on The Hindustan Times.
