New Delhi: In a massive encounter, between Naxalites and CRPF, eight cobra commandos lost their lives in the forest area of Dumari Nala, in Aurangabad, Bihar. Naxals in large numbers attacked the CRPF personnel. They had spread IED at places to which the commandos fell prey.   The CRPF’s Cobra Commandos were patrolling in the forests of Bihar’s Aurangabad and fell prey to the coward Naxals’ jibe. It was a latent attack by Naxals as the attack was done from mines spread on the ground. CRPF DG told ABP News that “Naxals had laid landmines all along the nala (drain) and, when an encounter was on; CRPF troops were sent for reinforcement and the Naxals blasted it. All the martyred commandos were from 205 Cobra Battalion. The incident claimed ten lives in total.  The gun-battle is over, and DG is on his way to Aurangabad to take a stock of the incident. The commandos were running an operation against Naxals when the attack took place.
