As Modi Government completes 4 years, PM thanks citizens for "unwavering faith"

On the other hand, Congress is observing a “betrayal day” or “Vishwasghat Divas” today

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janta Party government completed 4 years in power on Saturday as PM Modi took oath on this day.  To mark the day, the party is set to launch a 4-day programme, with its President Amit Shah highlighting party’s achievements to one-lakh personalities from different walks of life. The programme is set to begin on May27. Talking about his government’s 4th anniversary, PM Modi took to his Twitter account and said “125 cr Indians are taking India to greatest heights. “On this day in 2014, we began our journey of working towards India’s transformation. Over the last four years, development has become a vibrant mass movement, with every citizen feeling involved in India's growth trajectory. 125 crore Indians are taking India to great heights!” “I bow to my fellow citizens for their unwavering faith in our Government. This support and affection is the biggest source of motivation and strength for the entire Government. We will continue to serve the people of India with the same vigour and dedication” PM added. As on one hand, Government is celebrating its anniversary, the opposition Congress is observing a “betrayal day” or “Vishwasghat Divas” today. The same was declared by Ashok Gehlot and party spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala in a joint press conference.
