Another Air India Flight Cancelled As Delhi–Paris AI143 Plane Logs Issue Amid Pre-Flight Checking

The airline said that it was providing hotel accommodation and offering full refunds on cancellations or complimentary rescheduling if passengers opted to do so.

Another Air India flight from Delhi to Paris was cancelled on Tuesday after an issue was identified during pre-flight checks. The flight was supposed to take off on June 17.

"Flight AI143 from Delhi to Paris of 17 June has been cancelled. The mandatory pre-flight checks identified an issue which is being presently addressed. However, in view of the flight coming under the restrictions on night operations at Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport, the said flight has been cancelled," Air India Spokesperson said, as reported by news agency ANI.

The airline said that it was providing hotel accommodation and offering full refunds on cancellations or complimentary rescheduling if passengers opted to do so. "Consequently, flight AI142 from Paris to Delhi on June 17, 2025, also stands cancelled," it added.

Air India's Ahmedabad-London Flight Cancelled Today

This comes after Air India's flight from Ahmedabad to London was cancelled on Tuesday due to "operational issues".

Air India's direct flight from Ahmedabad to London was earlier known by code 'AI-171'. However, the flight, having code AI-171, was suspended after the London-bound Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crashed on June 12, claiming 270 lives, including 29 people on the ground.

The official website of the airline confirmed that the AI-159 flight from Ahmedabad's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport to the Gatwick airport in London was cancelled after being rescheduled. The plane was scheduled to depart at 3:00 PM.

"We have been informed that the flight has been cancelled due to operational issues. The original flight from Ahmedabad to London, having code AI-171, resumed operation from Monday with a new flight code AI-159," an airport official said, as reported by PTI.

The ill-fated Air India flight with 242 passengers and crew members on board crashed into a medical college complex in Ahmedabad on June 12, just moments after taking off from the airport at 1:39 PM. While all 241 persons on board the aircraft died, one passenger miraculously survived the crash.

The airline had suspended flights to London after the crash, but resumed operations on June 16 with a new flight code, AI-159.
