Anandiben Patel announces resignation as Gujarat CM

Gandhinagar: In a massive political development, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel has announced that she has asked the party leadership to relieve her of her post of chief minister. Anandiben Patel wrote a post on Facebook to announce her decision. She said she had urged the party leadership to relieve her of chief ministerial post. This is perhaps for the first that a BJP CM has taken to Facebook to announce such a big political decision. Meanwhile, three names are doing the rounds for the next chief minister of Gujarat. Nitin Patel, Vijay Roopani and Purushottam Rupala are front runners for the key post.
