Amit Shah Admitted To AIIMS Days After Recovering From Covid-19; Complains Of Body-Ache & Fatigue

Amit Shah News: Union Home Minister Amit Shah who was recently discharged from hospital after testing negative for Covid-19, has again been admitted to hospital, days after he was discharged for post Covid care. He has been admitted to AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) in its private ward. He was taken to hospital last night post 12 am. Shah has been complaining of body ache and fatigue since last 3-4 days, the hospital said in a statement.

“Home Minister Amit Shah has been admitted to AIIMS for post COVID care. He is comfortable and is continuing his work from hospital, the hospital said in the statement.
Shah was discharged from Medanta Hospital, Gurugram on August 14, a day before India’s 74th Independence Day, after testing negative for Covid-19. He then said he will stay in home isolation for a few more days on the advice of doctors. In another tweet, the Home Minister also thanked the doctors and medical staff at the Medanta Hospital for treating him and taking care of him
The 55-year-old Shah, who is diabetic, was found to be infected with the deadly Coronavirus infection on August 2, following which he was admitted to Gurugram’s Medanta Hospital following the advice of doctors.
Meanwhile, India on Tuesday recorded over 55000 fresh Covid-19 cases and 876 deaths in the last 24 hours, adding another lakh to its overall tally. The overall positive cases count in India has now crossed 27-lakh. As per the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, a spike of 55,079 cases and 876 deaths reported in India, in the last 24 hours.
