Sharad Pawar Birthday: NCP leader Ajit Pawar reached his uncle Sharad Pawar's residence in Delhi to wish him on his birthday on Thursday. Ajit Pawar was accompanied by his wife and party leaders including Praful Patel, and Chhagan Bhujbal. Ajit Pawar broke ranks with his uncle Sharad Pawar last year and joined the Eknath Shinde-BJP government. Ahead of the Maharashtra Assembly elections, Ajit Pawar criticised ruling Mahayuti legislator Sadabhau Khot's remarks on Sharad Pawar's face.

PM Narendra Modi congratulated Sharad Pawar and prayed for his long life. "Birthday wishes to Rajya Sabha MP and senior leader, Shri Sharad Pawar Ji. I pray for his long and healthy life," he wrote in a post on X.
