ABP News investigation: Was MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan's fast fixed?

New Delhi: The indefinite fast by the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan, on ‘restoration of peace’ post farmers’ deaths was fixed, revealed an investigation of ABP News channel. According to the findings, just a day after Chouhan’s fast, the relatives of the farmers, killed in police firing, were forced to travel to Bhopal and appeal the chief minister to break his fast. However, Chouhan had later said that he ended his fast after the appeals of the relatives of the farmers who died in the police firing. ABP News channel's reporter spoke to the relatives of those farmers who had died in the police firing and the kins revealed that they were pressured to travel a distance of over 350 km from Mandsaur to Bhopal so that CM’s fast could be broken. 2 A relative of Bablu, who was one of the farmers who got killed, said that CM and his supporters made it look like as if the relatives had gone there to end Chouhan's fast. “We did not make any such appeal. Why should we? Let him fast for 10 months, a year,” he said. Relatives of other farmers also said that they never visited Bhopal on their on will.
