ABP CVoter Opinion Poll 2021: Voters' Mood Not In Favour Of Congress-Led Alliance In Puducherry, NDA Likely To Form Govt
Puducherry ABP CVoter Opinion Poll Results 2021: The collected data showed the voter's mood inclined towards AINRC's N.Rangaswamy for the post of chief minister in Puducherry. More than 45 per cent of the people who took part in the survey preferred him as the next CM over INC candidate Narayanswamy.
The Union Territory of Puducherry will go in for assembly polls on April 6 while the results will be declared on May 2nd. Currently, there is no government instituted in the Puducherry Assembly as the Congress government of the UT failed to prove its majority in the house.
Ahead of the approaching elections, ABP News along with C-Voter conducted an opinion poll to predict the voter's mood. As per the collected data, NDA alliance comprising AINRC, BJP & ADMK is likely to come in power defeating the Congress-DMK led UPA alliance. As per the survey, NDA is projected to secure 16-20 seats with 45.4 per cent vote share while the rivalry UPA is expected to secure 10-14 seats with 40.7 per cent votes.

The survey further revealed that about 47.3 per cent of the people found current Congress government's performance as average while 21 per cent found it to be poor. When asked about the issues faced in there, 33.9 per cent complained about unemployment, 12.5 per cent raised concerns over electricity 7 water facilities while 9.8 spoke about law & order issues there.
It is to be noted that in the 2016 Assembly elections, Congress-DMK alliance made a comfortable victory as Congress won 15 and DMK two seats against the eight, four and one seat won by NR Congress, AIADMK and BJP respectively.
