ABP News-CVoter Manipur Exit Poll 2022: Elections to the 60-member Manipur assembly was held in two phases — February 28 and March 5. The first phase of polling in the state saw a voter turnout of 78.03 per cent, while the second phase polling across 22 constituencies ended marginally higher at 78.49 per cent, according to the Election Commission of India.
Now, with just four days left for the counting of votes, ABP News and CVoter have come out with exit poll results that show the number of seats and vote percentage secured by each party in Manipur.

ABP News-CVoter Exit Poll 2022 predicts that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will come out as the single largest party, bagging 23 to 27 seats, which puts it in a strong position. The Indian National Congress (INC) is likely to get 12-16 assembly seats.
The National People’s Party (NPP) manages 10-14 seats in the ABP News-CVoter Exit Poll 2022, while the Naga People’s Front (NPF), an ally of the BJP, can gather 3-7 seats. Others may get between 2-6 seats.
In the 2017 Manipur Assembly elections, the BJP had won 21 seats, while Congress was the single largest party with 28 seats. However, the BJP managed to form an alliance government in the state.

The vote share of BJP, according to the ABP News-CVoter Exit Poll 2022, has increased marginally from the 2017 assembly elections to settle at 38.7 per cent.
The vote share percentage of the Congress party in ABP News-CVoter Exit Poll 2022 stands at 28.7 per cent, which is almost a drop of 6 per cent from the previous assembly election in 2017. NPP grabs 11.2 per cent of the vote share in the ABP News-CVoter Exit Poll 2022, while the NPF is likely to secure 9.2 per cent of the vote share.
