New Delhi: In an outrageous incident, 12 minor school girls were raped inside the complex of Ninadhi Ashram school late Thursday night, in Maharashtra’s Buldhana. A total of 11 people, including teachers have been arrested for allegedly committing the horrendous crime on Thursday night.
The most shocking fact about the incident is that seven out of the eleven people arrested are the teachers of school and the rest are the staffers.
As per report in DNA, the head master of the school Digambar Kharat was also allegedly involved in the crime.
The sources in reports also claimed that, three of out of the 12 victims were suspected to be pregnant. All the 12 girls are believed to be in the age group of 12-14 years.
The matter came to light after the girls came back to their respective families for Diwali holidays.
The girls were reportedly sitting sad holding their stomachs in the village and when asked about what happened to them, they complained of stomach pain and said they feel something heavy in their stomachs. The village Sarpanch immediately sent them for a check up to the hospital where it was found that they are pregnant.
A Special Investigative Team (SIT) has been formed under the leadership of IPS officer Shweta Khedekar to investigate this case.
