10 Naxals arrested from Noida, huge quantity of explosives & weapons recovered, says IG ATS Aseem Arun

New Delhi: In total 10 Naxals were arrested from Noida, Uttar Pradesh (UP), confirmed IG ATS Aseem Arun of the state, on Sunday, in a press conference. In huge quantity, explosives and weapons were recovered from them including pistols, informed the top cop. Material for making bomb also recovered from them and all Naxalites were wanted, informed the IG. It is pertinent to mention here that on Saturday, six Naxals were arrested late at night from Hindon Vihar area in Noida. Uttar Pradesh is going for Assembly polls in early next year and there may be chances that the Naxals have entered the city to disrupt the state elections. The legislative assembly election will be held for the 403 seats of the Vidhan Sabha in the state of UP. However, the dates of the election are yet to be announced.
