Honda Hornet 2.0: For auto enthusiasts, here’s something to cheer about! Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) on Thursday launched Hornet 2.0 at a cost of ₹1,26,345 (ex-showroom, Gurugram). The new motorcycle is seen as a competitor against its rivals including Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 and the TVS Apache RTR 200 4v. You can book the Hornet 2.0 on the company's official website or with authorised dealerships. It will be available for deliveries by next month onwards. Check out the details of Hornet 2.0 below: Specifications The motorcycle will be powered by a 184 cc PGM-FI HET (Honda Eco Technology) engine that delivers 17.01 PS of power and 16.1 Nm of peak torque. The machine uses 8 onboard sensors to constantly inject optimum fuel and air mixture into the system. The motorcycle is claimed to move past 200 meters mark in just over 11 seconds. Other features The Hornet 2.0 showcases a stunning exterior design with -LED lighting setup comprising LED headlamp, LED tail lamp as well as LED turn indicator. Other exterior elements including split seats, stubby exhaust, blacked out engine, body coloured belly pan, and muscular tank shrouds make it one of the most appealing bikes in the segment. Moreover, you will be spoilt for choice as there are four colors ranging from Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Axis Grey Metallic and Matte Marvel Blue Metallic. Hornet 2.0 offers a golden coloured upside down (USD) front fork, a first for sub-200 cc class bike, while the rear suspension duty is taken care of by a single monoshock unit. It also gets disc brakes at both the ends and sports single-channel ABS. What’s more? The automaker is offering six-year warranty package, the first in the industry, of around (3 years standard + 3 years optional extended warranty). Ltd emphasised, “The new Hornet 2.0 is a transformation of Honda’s racing DNA into sheer thrill of street riding."
