Fresh Bomb Threats At Delhi College And School; Police Evacuate Both Premises

On Tuesday, St. Thomas School in Dwarka and St. Stephen's College received bomb threats via email, prompting evacuations and searches by Delhi Police. No explosives were found.

In a fresh security scare, two prominent educational institutions in Delhi received bomb threats on Tuesday morning—marking the second such incident in as many days. St. Thomas School in Dwarka and St. Stephen's College of Delhi University were both targeted through emails that prompted immediate emergency responses.

Two Delhi Educational Institutions Receive Bomb Threats

The Delhi Police issued a statement confirming the threats and the subsequent action taken: "St. Thomas School in the Dwarka area of Delhi and St. Stephen's College of the University of Delhi received bomb threats on Tuesday. Authorities further stated that after thorough searches, no suspicious items were discovered. “So far, the police have not found anything suspicious at either place,” the statement added.

Second Consecutive Day of Threats

This incident follows a similar episode on Monday when bomb threats were reported at two other schools—CRPF Public School in Dwarka Sector 16 and Navy School in Chanakyapuri. Both institutions were evacuated, and the bomb squad conducted detailed checks, but no explosives were found.

Delhi Fire Services (DFS) also confirmed the calls received from school administrators. “Our teams were dispatched immediately in coordination with the bomb squad,” said a DFS official.

As per ANI, "Information was received from St. Stephen’s College, Dwarka, that they have received a bomb threat through email at AM. The mail said that a bomb had been planted in the library of the college. Teams of PS Maurice Nagar, North district CCPS (Cyber Crime Police Station), BDT (Bomb Detection Team) & Dog Squad have reached the spot. It was cordoned off, and a check is being conducted. Earlier Threats Deemed Hoaxes

This is not the first time Delhi's educational institutions have been targeted with such threats. In February this year, both a private school and a Delhi University college received similar hoax emails. Authorities are now investigating the origin of the latest emails and whether they may be linked to earlier incidents.
