Lucknow Bound Indigo Flight Makes An Emergency Landing In Pakistan

In an unfortunate event, a Lucknow bound Indigo flight had to land Pakistan following a medical emergency. The passenger could not be arrived and was declared dead on arrival.

New Delhi: A Lucknow bound IndiGo flight 6E 1412 from Sharjah was diverted to Karachi, Pakistan following a medical emergency. According to an official statement by the airline, the passenger was declared dead on arrival in Karachi.

In a statement issued by IndiGo said "IndiGo flight 6E 1412 from Sharjah to Lucknow was diverted to Karachi due to a medical emergency. Unfortunately, the passenger could not be revived and was declared dead on arrival by the airport medical team."

The airlines expressed condolences to the family of the passenger. 

Earlier this month, an Indian air ambulance had made an emergency landing at the Islamabad airport for refuelling. 

Late last year, a Go Air Flight had to make an emergency landing in Karachi after one of the passengers suffered a cardiac arrest but unfortunately, even after being administered all possible medical help onboard he was declared dead after landing at Karachi.
