Cristiano Rolando – Coca Cola Controversy Reminisces Ilayathalapathi Vijay's Action In Kaththi

Cristiano Ronaldo is not a first celebrity to snub the beverage brand, our very own superstar Ilayathalapathi Vijay has done something similar in his movie Kaththi released in 2014.

Chennai: The act of Cristiano Ronaldo moving coke bottles from the table during UEFA EURO 2020 conference may or may have affected the beverage company's brand value, but, his venture earned him more veritable followers on social media.

Despite being a Coca Cola endorser in the past, Cristiano Ronaldo snubbed the brand in the recent event.

However, Ronaldo's action will not be counted in a trend setting list as India had seen this sort of venture earlier. Tamil superstar Ilayathalapathi Vijay had done something similar in his movie Kaththi released in 2014.

Vijay had been a brand ambassador of Cola company from 2000 to 2003 in Tamil Nadu.

Depicting similar event, Vijay as Jeeva in A.R. Murugadoss movie, went in defiance of Coca Cola scathing the beverage brand and putting fans on unrest. Though later, Vijay who never responds to any chaotic news -for the first time he spoke and cleared the air that he doesn’t endorse Coca Cola anymore.

Apparently, these stars, never showed their good will gestures post their dissociation with the brand.
